After 14 years in Lloyds Insurance in the City of London, Stephen joined Hicks Brothers (Produce) Ltd in 1989, a small brokerage company trading in Shellac, Waxes, Gums and Resins. This led to a merger with A.F. Suter & Co. Ltd in 1997, before a full takeover of the company in 2000. Stephen became Managing Director in 1997 and is the current President of The European Shellac Association (TESA). "With over three decades of experience in the business, I enjoy the daily challenge of dealing with suppliers to bring the right product to our customers. Shellac is no longer a commodity, but rather a specialist item, highly versatile and unique, with new applications still being discovered".
Peter Marchington

Peter Marchington

Director
Having spent the majority of his career in the London commodity markets, including Precious Metals and Spices, Peter joined A. F. Suter & Co. Ltd in 2004. He became a Director and business partner to Stephen in 2010. Based in the Witham office, he has overall responsibility for the accounts and working procedures.

Rahul Mourya

Product Development Manager
Rahul is a Mechanical Engineer with a post graduate degree in Management (MBA). He started his career working with an Engineering conglomerate, Larsen & Toubro and has also worked with a major pharmaceutical organization, Dr Reddy’s, after completing his MBA. Prior to joining A F Suter, Rahul has worked with an Indian Shellac company, Hind Suter Shellac where he handled the manufacturing operations of all Shellac products. At A F Suter, his primary responsibility is development of the aqueous shellac solution, SWANLAC ASL 10.
Tracy Milne

Tracy Milne

Office Manager
Tracy joined the company in 2007, having worked at a recruitment agency and a previous long-term position at a major car dealership. She is involved with the processing of contracts and warehouse liaison, along with general administration duties at the Witham office.
