Hind Suter Shellac Pvt. Ltd is based in Kolkata, and was formed in 2003 and as a result of a joint partnership between A.F. Suter and Hindustan Shellac Industry (India). Hind Suter, which has achieved both ISO 9001:2015 and HACCP certification, manufactures high quality Dewaxed Bleached Shellac powder, Aleuritic Acid, and a wide range of Dewaxed Shellac flake grades under the Swanlac® trademark and HS brand name, which are distributed worldwide by A.F. Suter. Our unique partnership sets us aside from other Shellac suppliers in the industry and ensures high quality assurance and health & safety standards for customers.
A.F. Suter is a founding member of the The European Shellac Association (TESA), which represents the interests of those engaged in the production, marketing, use and sale of Shellac as well as in relation to all legislation and proposed legislation relating to Shellac. Stephen Hall, our Managing Director, is the current President of TESA.
